What is an exchange student?
The term 'exchange student' covers students exchanged via institutional agreements made between the School of Architectue and their home institutions, either within the framework of the ERASMUS_SOCRATES and NORDPLUS programmes or as bilateral agreements.
Exchange students are 'non-degree' students, which means that they cannot present themselves for an academic degree or a diploma at our school. The study period at the School of Architecture is part of the studies at the home institution.
Exchange students stay 1 or 2 semesters. During their stay exchange students remain enrolled at their home university, and the credits gained here will be transferred. Exchange students do not pay tuition fee.
The student is enrolled in a study department, where he/she works with the projects for one or two semesters. We do not give short-term courses in landscape, design, planning, etc. etc. These subjects may be integrated into any project in any department but are otherwise studied in their respective departments and for no less than one semester.
How to become an exchange student
If you have inquiries about admission etc., you should direct them to the international co-ordinator at your school. Application form and information form you find here. If your school does not have an exchange agreement with the School of Architecture, you should apply as a visiting student
