The Department’s shared frame of reference is an overriding, structural, visual angle, which ties the area together, across the boundaries of traditional fields of interest. This optical approach serves as a means to focus on the system, context, and entity in stead of solely singling out each individual object.
The Department focuses on special competencies within the following fields of interest: Industrial production, industrial graphics, cross-disciplinary collaboration, design theory and the tectonics of the system.
