Academic Council
The Academic Council advises Rector on academic issues and is consulted in cases concerning the institution's general interests as an artistic institution of education and research. The Council may comment on all academic issues of particular significance to the institution's work and is under obligation to discuss the academic issues presented by Rector.
The Academic Council consists of members elected by the permanently employed academic staff and students at the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, Schools of Architecture, Design and Conservation. There will also be a member representing the technical/administrative staff, however, with observer's status only.
The Academic Council corresponds to the academic councils mentioned in the University Act, and it will be appointed once a new Rector has been employed. Rector is the ex officio Chairman of the Academic Council.
