A qualified choice of materials requires insight into the materials’ significance to a building’s technical functions and physical values, the indoor climate and the building’s ecology.
For this purpose, Research Institute 2 has a Material Collection for teaching purposes. The Material Collection features samples of building materials and their physical processing.
