Architectural Model Workshop, KAM

The Architectural Model Workshop, KAM, serves as a study facility for students, professors and researchers at the School in connection with their study and research assignments.

The workshop enables its users to develop an architectural understanding – by means of model work – and by working on the visualisation of assignments, from the conceptual phase to the final presentation.

The staff at the workshop offers instruction in the usage of machines and tools, and safety precautions. They also offer teaching regarding the properties and processing of materials.

  • A wood workshop, which is open 24 hours a day, is located on the ground floor. The workshop is equipped with a limited selection of machines that are easy to operate and offer users a high degree of safety.
  • The first floor houses a metal workshop, welding room, plastic workshop, painting room and a digital workshop.
  • The second floor houses a wood workshop, a conference room and an office.
